SQL Server MVPs Aaron Bertrand and Kevin Kline conclude their series on query tuning best practices. In this webinar, they cover four different topics, in regard to patterns and anti-patterns, which they see all the time that leads to impairment of SQL Server performance. Aaron starts off by going over efficient ad hoc sets, and gives you the best practices for comma-delimited parameters involving table valued functions among other things. Kevin then goes over implicit conversions in SQL code and also gives some best practices in the temporary structures we use inside of our SQL code.
